Dermy ("Dermy," "we," "our," or "us") provides AI-powered skincare insights for informational and wellness purposes only. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and your rights.

A. Images and Camera Data

• We request camera/gallery access so you can scan skin and products.
• Selected scan images may be sent to cloud AI services to generate results.
• Scan metadata and analysis results can be stored locally in app history on your device.

B. Local Device Data

• Profile details, analysis history, routines, reminders, preferences, and weather snapshots may be stored locally on your device.
• If you clear local data in-app or uninstall the app, this local data is removed from your device.

C. Account Information

• We support Google Sign-In and guest/anonymous sign-in.
• If you sign in with Google, we may receive basic account data such as name, email, and profile image.

D. Usage, Analytics, and Diagnostics

• We may collect app events, usage, and performance data through analytics tools.

E. Advertising and Consent Data

• Ad SDKs may collect device/advertising identifiers and interaction data for ad delivery and measurement.
• We use a consent flow (UMP) where required by law.

F. Location Data

• If allowed, we collect location data for weather/UV guidance and personalization.
• If location is not allowed, manual city input can be used.

Dermy may use services such as Google Firebase, Google Mobile Ads/UMP, Google Generative AI, Open-Meteo, and BigDataCloud. These services have their own privacy policies.

Because our service providers may operate in multiple countries, personal data may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, including countries that may have different data protection standards.

Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers (for example, contractual safeguards or equivalent mechanisms provided by service providers).

• Local on-device data is retained until you clear it in-app or uninstall.
• Cloud/service-provider data is retained as needed for service delivery, security, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes.
